About Us:

The Peter Street Centre lies on the edge of the town centre of St Helens; this locational advantage was seen as key to the future success of the operation of the Centre. It is an imposing Victorian redbrick building constructed in 1906 as an Institute for the Girls and Young Women of the local community.

Peter Street closed for refurbishment in 2005 and reopened May 2006 since then it has played host to a wide range of tenants and activities covering a range of groups, beneficiaries and participants.

Peter Street offers tenanted space currently to the Library service, HomeStart St Helens, Homeinstead, The Chrysalis Centre for change and PACT consultancy. If you require details of available spaces please contact the Centre.

Apart from tenant office space the Centre houses many activities from Badminton to Craft groups.
